Bustling Fungus.
N'kuhana's opinion if you have bustling fungus already.
That's the big one.

Pretty much anything and everything scales very well with his turrets though. All procs, all healing items (minus slug mayb), fire rate, critical, CDR, etc. Even war banners, though you level up wayy less eventually.

The only thing I'd really leave out is shields, which sadly includes wake of vultures (though I avoid it on most classes in the first place). Turrets can't dodge stuff, so if your shield amount pops over 10% of their HP it's actively bad for you.

Genesis loop turns your turrets into nuclear bombs.

Bungus, aegis, opinion, shield gens, pearls, dios, genesis loop, knurls, stealth kits.

If want more max hp but no healing without waiting 7 seconds then: transcendence, pearls, dios, genesis loop, knurls, shield gens, stealth kits, just nothing that involves healing.

Personaly prefering the second option bcs later things like imp overlords, magma worms etc just gonna shred the turrets no matter how many healing items they have and the only items that can save them is aegis with tons of shrooms if using stationary, the walking ones need pure max hp to survive one-shots.

Actually I don't think aegis makes much of a difference late game now. Here's some patch notes.

Change 'One Shot Protection' calculation to include barrier

If you have 100% Health and 100% Barrier and take a billion damage, previously you would remain at 100% Health and 10% Barrier. You will now be at 10% Health, as intended before the inclusion of barrier in Scorched Acres.

Haven't played Engineer since the patch. If you have enough fungus to heal at least 90% health in a single burst, you're probably right, but until that point Aegis would still be useful in theory.

The disappointing reality is that Personal Shield Generators make your turrets more vulnerable.

Don't care about osp on turrets, they usualy die from things such as overlord imp or magma worms which don't deal damage multiple times and that osp is worth nothing, all that care about turrets is pure max hp and damage, no healing.
Ittrix Jan 16, 2020 @ 10:29am
Ehhh OSP can protect you from a lot, though. By the time you're abusing it you tend to be nuking the crap out of a lot of stuff, so there won't be much left to thwack you upside the head.
If you get stealth kits it gives them more of an opportunity to OSP, too.

Yeah, osp works against some had hitters and all, just not bothering with it on turrets since they have mind of their own.
