Huntress: Piercing Wind and Transcendence

I tried unlocking Huntress: Piercing Wind, which reads "As Huntress, start and finish Rallypoint Delta without falling below 100% health." by using Transcendence, which reads "Convert all but 1 health into regenerating shields. Gain 50% maximum health."

Considering that falling below 1 health would be fatal, did I not complete the challenge? If not, why? I followed the exact wording of the challenge.

Maximum HP is calculated with Health + Shields.

Challenge wants Max HP.

Yeah, maybe they should reword the challenge or clarify their terminology.

I just got both alternative abilities due to a lot of luck in acquiring a bunch of fuel cells, blue item that gives invulnerability/healing, 1 hard light, bandoliers, 1 glass knife, and then meteor. Result was being completely invulnerable during the start / teleport fight (which I started right away) except when I got out of shade form in which case usually I had the turtle over shield to rely on.

Took awhile to get the 12 crowbars though. Think I stopped around 23 or so. Think I got like 2 or 3 gold titan items as well so having him take a ton of aggro worked out well.

Make a suggestion in the sub forums or write to 'em. It couldn't hurt. There's a lot of challenges where the terminology, or just what's considered doing them, isn't clear.

Shields being counted as "health" happened a couple of updates ago, to allow Transcendence to be used with Shrines of Blood. Overall it's a good thing, but it kinda sucks for the challenge. Yellow overshields don't count as part of your health though, for the Shrine of Blood or the challenges.

This confirms things. I've been trying this achievement and is still looking for that one good run that had a lot of brooches (and actually sending me to Rally Point Delta by stage 3). Now I know that shields won't work, thanks.

I recently just obtained the Aegis for the first time. This is so helpful, and brought me to Stage 7 in Monsoon. (Unfortunately, I got 2 Scorched Acres in a row lol)
