How to find multiple Shrine of the Mountain?

Trying to unlock the "Ascendant" challenge on single player and only found 1 per stage..

It's pretty rare, but it's possible for two shrines to appear in a level. Just gotta keep playing and keep an eye out.

pure RNG, though playing on rainstorm over drizzle i've seen them spawn more often. monsoon i imagine possibly even more often. having more players might help as well as more things get added to a level with more people.

It is very random and just gotta be lucky.

If you find two while playing Monsoon difficulty, you can potentially knock out the Deicide challenge also.

yeah GL with that... odds are it'll throw you a monster that doesnt qualify for the challenge early on.

unless your in the abyss then it might throw you a elemental imp lord or stone titan.

come to think of it, never seen a wandering vagrant in the abyss.

Pretty much what everyone else said, you need to get lucky. This is the only achievement I haven't unlocked so I guess my RNG sucks.

I've only had 2 Mountain Shrines happen once (as far as I know), in the 20+ hours I've played. Was my first Engineer run, trying to get used to him, and it was the first level, so I died pretty quickly.

It definitely could have been that there've been other chances and I've missed it, but honestly I feel like they could afford to make it a more frequent occurrence. It's an opt-in challenge, so I don't see why not.

it actually took my group of friends a couple tries, we found 2 shinres 3 times, the first 2 times went badly with blazing mobs that gibbed us faster than you'd ever expect. 3rd time was an overload worm we managed to beat. it was the first time as a group that we did.

after about 24 hours of playing I found 2 shrines twice on a stage

I mostly play alone so I can search the map

It's luck. I found 3 in a stage once. I died very hard that day

I found 6 on stage one and it spawned 2 overloading beetle queens and 3 regular beetle queens (I think) but anyways we didn't live
