How are the Controller Controls?
I saw some gameplay Videos and I am aware that M+K is superior in FPS Games, but I like to know for casual play.

The Huntress apparently has an Auto-Aim, but her special ability requires to look in a certain Direction to dodge.

Will her Teleport change to a dodge roll rather than where you are looking when you perform it?

Controller support is more or less implemented. There is a slight auto-aim implemented when using it, so characters like Commando and MUL-T won't have to worry about too much drop in accuracy for their attacks.

The weakness of controllers, however, is that they are not compensated for skills like Huntress' Blink or Mercenary's Blinding Assault, where you have to aim quickly. The best you can do is use a higher controller sensitivity.

In my opinion, it's not too bad of a disadvantage with Huntress' abilities, given the compensation from Arrow Rain giving you time to catch a breather and her other abilities having auto aim, but Mercenary really suffers from attacking effectively with controller.

So, to answer your question, the only compensation controllers get is auto aim. Dashing attacks are not compensated, so you might have reduced range with specific skills, particularly those used by Huntress and Mercenary.

I've been playing with nothing but controller and don't really have a problem, but I'm not overly picky with my controls. I've not flung my dualshock4 and blamed it for getting me killed so that's a good sign right?

seems i just had to restart my game, but for a first-run issue that was bad

I only play controller and it's fine. There is a lot of mashing for Merc tho, especially in long games.
