New boss = Servitor?

Is it just me or does the new boss (Alloyed core) look almost exactly like a servitor from Destiny

Giant evil spheres are pretty much on the same level of sci-fi trope as genetically self-modifying aliens like the Zerg, Tyranids, and Xenomorphs.

Nobody's really copying anyone, there's just not much that can be changed on a giant angry ball thing.

I just noticed it too, it looks like a combination of the final boss from Forsaken and a normal Servitor.

It's even more of a coincidence that the enemy is called Alloy Worship Unit.
