Is There Any Limit You Can Carry Any Drones.? How Many You Can Carry.?

A lot, most I've had is 25.

I don't believe there is a hard cap on the number of allies you can have. There once was a glitch involving The Backup and Gesture of the Drowned where you constantly spawned drones until the game couldn't handle it and crashed. How many you can keep alive at once during normal play is a different matter, but 'as many as you can handle' is probably the best answer I can give.

There is a hard cap on AI allies without mods, it's somewhere around 20-30

It can be seen easily by getting the backup and some fuel cells. You'll eventually stop seeing new drones added to the list, and old back up drones will start self destructing

The problem you will encounter as well is them dying by getting hit once, so you can't reliably use drones in the late game, unless they're your "drones", eg Engineer's turrets.

Once did a run where I picked up every single drone in every single map I could while playing engineer (was doing challenge) after I got it done I wanted to see how far I could go with it so I kept all my turrets/drones alive as best as possible (including the big boi drones) and even with fuel cell + gesture with the backup. Game eventually crashed but I never got to a point where there was a limit
