Artificer: Does anything improve the charge rate of her left-click?

Attack speed doesn't seem to do it, and there are no items that add more left-click charges to my knowledge. Bandolier pickups are a thing, but that requires you to go grab the drops. Is there anything else?

There is nothing that improves Artificer's primary only (unless you couynt switching it out with Visions of Heresy, but that is a separate matter), although there are items that affect all her abilities' cooldowns (alien head, brainstalks, etc.). To be fair, her left click isn't her main source of damage. you are much better off treating nano-bomb and flamethrower as her main attacks, and flame/plasma bolt as something to do when they aren't available or sniping wisps.

Alright, fair enough. I did notice Alien Head later on, but I wasn't quite aware of Brainstalks. I don't have that unlocked just yet. Thank you none the less. =)

Not having an ability that can scale properly with attack speed, nor an item that increases explosion radius (outside of things like Behemoth or ukulele) will do that I suppose. Perhaps a future ability unlock will remedy that.

Alien Heads and Brainstalks are the only ways to better scale her primary.
