Oh is there? Huh. Never felt like it.
OP, check if you have any security software blocking requests from RoR2. If that's not the problem, I don't know what else to suggest.
I will add that currently private lobbies seem to have some kind of latency issue, but that was after the Artifact update landed. I haven't tested it out myself but there was quite a few people in a thread earlier.
It all worked fine before the update, and the problem is neither the internet nor the computers.
So hidden it was prominently featured in the Hidden Realms update directly under the heading 'Major Content'

It's not like hopoo published the dedicated server setup guide themselves (Oh wait, they did.)
Or that it was a prominently featured guide at the time of that updates release (oh wait, it was.)
SMH.
Idiot aside, Regarding OP & Noncom- My friends and I are also having an issue with being unable to connect to a multiplayer session running on a Dedicated Server that seems to have -since the update- developed the 'weird extra window' bug that the update news said hopoo tried to patch with this update. All of us and the server are running on the current version. One's getting a black screen on attempt to connect, while i get a white screen and then get dumped back to menu.
Perhaps we've been spoiled by the move to dedicated servers- but the game performs much smoother on one than it does with p2p- and not being able to connect to it has left us not wanting to play the game. What brought me to this forum is hoping to hear if someone has a workaround or if hopoo is working on a patch to fix it.
What happened?
It's not something you find... well... that often? The discord was asking for server lists just yesterday, and I didn't find this when I went into the mp menu. Im not going to search out the way to find a server list for every game, im sorry to say. Sometimes, im just going to look at a game and if I dont see a built in server browser...
I assume it doesn't exist.
. . .
I'm not going to say it. I'm just going to think it VERY LOUDLY.
I'm not going to post more pictures, guides, links, news announcements, etc. Clearly you haven't
read any of them and are not going to.
Just please stop trying so hard to justify being wrong on the internet for the sake of your fragile sense of self-worth. Instead just accept it, learn from it, and move on.
What IS more important here is the connectivity issues present in the latest update. It should be clear by now that OP isn't the only one having them. I would much prefer to see more about other people that are having them and hopefully any work-around they may have found.
Well...
I have read them, im not claiming there isnt one.
Im just saying that its not clear to most players who arent going to search the method out.
Sorry for having a wrong opinion
