Blight is lethal and can be stacked, but overall I think Poison is better

Each tick of Blight does damage equal to Bleed from Tri-Tip (for Acrid). It's not very good.

It sucks that Poison is non-lethal, but it can tick down bosses and tanky enemies way better than Blight can.

IMO Blight for short runs and Poison for longer runs
Now I wonder how effective would Blight be if I could stack bandoliers with Alien Head or Brainstalks

I think blight works with shaped glass and poison doesn't so there's that

Blight + guillotine is cool

To make up for that, blight stacks. I honestly hate this. You gotta ♥♥♥♥ all your abilities onto one enemy when you can just poison & run. Blight finishing enemies is cool, but needing to stack it just to make it worth is lame.

blight feels like a massive middle finger from the devs when we asked for lethality on acrid's poison

unless you're running glass, dont bother with it

I prefer to have the option tho, but imo blight needs a buff, be it more % damage (60% damage is really low, just now I was playing with Evolution artifact and literally the first 2 items enemies got were Medkit and Repulsion Plate armor, my blight was doing no damage lol), more active time so it's easier to stack or both

Can Blight proc on-hit items?

Only with the initial attack that procs the blight.

What's crazy, is that blight's stacking is almost completely mitigated by the fact that the duration is still so low. What's the purpose of stacking if, within the time period that I stack 3 Blights on an enemy, it's already starting to lose stacks.
100% pointless.

Ah, so for some one away. They are still doing Acrid wrong and added a lazy substitute. And they could even balance the lazy substitute well.

Shame

The only time blight can really beat bleed is if you have multiple backup mags and have brainstalks since getting 1 elite kill can make you easily alternate between R and RMB skills very quickly stacking multiple blights. It still is less reliable than poison however since even on monsoon you can play Acrid and obliterate with 0 items obtained since the poison can tick strong enough for you to kill anything given an infinite amount of time.

Well I like the kit Acrid have, poison no being letal is annoying but the damage it deal is definetly high, in RoR1 was more similar to blight with Z stacking a 24% damage poison and the V/Special a 100% damage poison, X and C/utility didn't had poison (X was just damage and C was a dot only inside it)
Like I said before more duration, buffing the damage to 80/100% or both would make it more viable

Yeah, I agree if you add a new stack, it should reset the timer on previous stacks.
