If you find the unlock painful you'll find playing with the artifact just as painful.

Some artifacts are busted like that, the best way to get them is going god mode in your run, now that we have Command is even easier to do, hope you make it eventually

50 Teddies and 3 Clovers did the trick for me. I got hit a few times but I had a Dio for insurance.

I did have the command Artifact but you gotta select the key in the command section. Which you gotta be real quick and when the "boss" is low he starts shooting a ♥♥♥♥ ton of homing attacks.

Yeah, it was better in RoR 1.

His "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" of homing attacks ramps up for every key you use on the "boss". It fires in a counter-clockwise rotation which starts shortly past the path to the Artifact and will end slightly to the left of the path.

Time your approach in accordance to how it fires and you can safely run up to it. Even easier if you have some Infusions/Topaz/Tougher Times. Drones and Turrets will also draw the projectiles away from you. They can home in much easier in the air than if you're on the ground. They actually struggle to hit Gunner Turrets.

For an easier time, play on Drizzle. Also consider picking up the artifact of command beforehand, using it to stack armor plates for as much damage mitigation as possible, and rushing to stage five as fast as you can to make the entire event easier.

Tougher Times is unaffected by luck, I hope you had another use for all those clovers...

Yeah, i guess for this Artifact i'm just going to have to do that, i play on monsoon for that and even if i have 4 infusions, Aegis, teddy bears etc it's not enough.

but it is, instead u dont need infusions
u need 27 bears, aegis, full crit, harvester scythe, gesture+10cells and a jade elephant
the rest is whatever but rejuvenation rack will help a lot, as well as dio (which does not stack and i didnt even need it but u can pick one just in case)

Wait, really? I should have stacked Dios then.

Well, I was proccing item's effects like crazy with barely any items so it wasn't a total waste of reds.

I'm pretty sure it does since I already saw someone stacking it.

it's Pretty easy if you use the mercenary. Stock up on speed boost items and keep an eye on the artifact, so that you can dodge the lasers. Also, they don't completely home in on you. you can dodge if you see them coming or hide behind a wall

Are you 100% sure about that? I've gotten 3 of them before in a run, it was quite a few updates ago though so I don't know if its been changed since then as I haven't tested
