edit: also the codes are fixed; each stage always gives the same code
Firstly, thank you for the help!
And I'm not super sure about it, I just found a piece of a tablet on Abandoned Aqueduct. So maybe there are multiple pieces on a single stage? I don't know.
There's also one that cannot be found in any run.
2 actually.
So... Every single main stage has one/a piece:
Distant Roost, Titanic Plains, Abandoned Aqueduct, Wetland Aspect, Rallypoint Delta, Scorched Acres, Abyssal Depths, Siren's Call, and Sky Meadow.
And every hidden realm?
Bazaar Between Time, A Moment Fractured, A Moment Whole, Void Fields, Bulwraks Ambry, and Gilded Coast?
That's 15 maps total, and as you've said one of the tablets is not in the run at all. Three of these stages only have half a tablet. So I've found 4.5 tablet pieces, but there are 16 total, and I've found pieces on 5 maps. There must be multiple pieces per map, right?
What are you referring to with the 'one map' and 'other two'?
"Pieces" refers to fragments of a tablet. One example would be how you can find a fragment on Siren's Call, but there isn't a "complete tablet" to find a code on. It requires finding another fragment on a different level, and that level only has the other part of the fragment. This is the only artifact that requires more than one level to get the code for.
Abandoned Aqueduct has 2 fragments, however one of them gives enough information where you can safely assume the rest of the code.
There's 12 more that have full codes hidden somewhere in each level, and 2 more that are hanging out somewhere else outside of a run.
I've already nabbed screenies of them all and have them all unlocked. This update really hit a homerun.
