Rex makes things way easier. It can't land mortars to save itself, and one rooting flower instantly spells death since it can't avoid your own mortars.

just did it as rex. Each time I used a key it was an awkward 30 seconds of shooting since i'm just as bad at avoiding the rooting flower. So we just rooted each other in place and spam-attacked each other, constantly healing. The mortars gave me an edge though.

Every 10 minutes, a clone of you with all your items and abilities will spawn and hunt you down, dropping a random item on death. I haven't tried it yet in a fresh run, but in the challenge room it can be hard to deal with because the area is small and so it can be hard to run away if it has stuff like tesla coils, or Engie turrets with N'kuhana's opinion.

Loader is the hardest. Don't do loader.

AI Engie drops turrets immediately on event start. And they'll instagib the player. Loader is dummy easy, the AI borks and jumps off the stage.
