and pretty often some people with legit copies endedup without
being able to finish it because of a bug saying they are NOT legit.
That kind of protection is a waste of time.
Honestly, if you make a good game, people will buy it.
Not that piracy is a good thing but sometimes it leads to more people buying and playing games than if no piracy existed. Piracy was one reason doom got so big. Again not advocating for it but it's going to happen with a very small group of people and oh well. Hoppo has made awesome games and I'm sure will be just fine. I've got my wallet ready to throw money at this game.
Also an aside, I watch a lot of gameplay footage and even if the game isn't something I want to play I will frequently purchase a game just to support devs. Risk of rain 2 will probably be one of them. I'm not so much an action type and will put a dozen hours in but will watch hundreds so... TAKE MY MONEY! Lol
Pirating is unfair to the devs, however its basically impossible to stop and has a minimal effect on the games sales realistically.
Just a troll post man. Someone was just being cheeky. I don't think it was malicious and I don't think the o.p. even meant it. I saw it and took it as a joke. I think if hopoo thought it was serious they wouldn't let it stay up.
