There will be in the 1.0, probably even earlier. RoR 1 had that looping mechanism, but it also had a final boss with a proper ending. We're looking at the same thing in RoR2 eventually I think.
Right now, consider reaching the celestial portal and obliterating yourself at the obelisk the only true ending (aside from a painful death). That requires beating 4 levels, looping back to the first one and beating it (which should spawn said portal) so a total of 5 levels.
RoR 1 had 6 full stages to the final boss out of a possible 10.
RoR 2 has 5 full stages to the obelisk out of a possible 6.
