Lore: Enforcer is dead?
From the first game, we're familiar with the Enforcer character, his directional invulnerability and shotgun helped me plow through a whole bunch of enemies. One thing has me very much... sad. From the lore drop in the medkit item, which you can find in the logbook. It appears that the enforcer was one of the very few defenders of Rallypoint Delta, and the logbook entry paints him as exhausted and fighting to his very last, despite medical advice that he shouldn't. When the player (party) arrives there, everyone is very much dead, even that wonderful TC-280 drone didn't survive, and at least to me, the enforcer isn't one to flee from a no-win situation.

From this, I predict that we won't be able to unlock the enforcer from the first game, as, well, he's dead.

NOTE: This is pure speculation. When I said he doesn't run from a no-win scenario, he obviously turned up in the first game to begin with.

I'd hope not, he'd actually be a lot more interesting in a 3D environment... but, at least he'd go out as he lived, throwing nades behind a shield.

The lore also says that the lone survivor from the first game stacked glasses to 11.

it's also probably their way of not including the least used characters in the game. Good riddance, even if i liked him. More room for different characters.

The lore also takes place between multiple characters this time so maybe one of them may take on the mantle...
Right so.

Undead enforcer next playable class.

From the leaks and interviews it seems Sniper and Bandit are next...

I'm okay with both of those. Personally, I'd like to see the loader or miner as well. We don't have many of those interesting melee classes other than mercenary.

Im not actually looking forwards to the sniper. Hes not going to transfer very nicely from 2d to 3d, entirely because of his moveset. He'll go from dominating groups and single targets to only dominating single targets in a game that demands killing groups. Picking things off one at a time will not be useful at all late game :/ He;ll likely still have a piercing shot, but itll be about as useless as commandos. Things dont group together as nicely as they did in 1 :/

That was a funny logbook entry, can't remember which. "...with 22 red eyes..." lol

Actually, doesn't the medkit lore mention multiple enforcers having held the line that day? If anything, the medkit lore suggests that there are no "singular" survivors and that there's multiple commandos, engineers, etc. out there.

Well of course Enforcer is dead. Have you seen how easily he dies to Magma Worm?

Just because a character returns, doesn't me their entire skillset must return with them. With that being said, the Sniper's moves aren't so bad :

M1 can be similar to Snipe, a no-scope attack with a reload mechanic for added dmg
- or - if it's too slow, you can make it a side-arm : fast-firing, low damage attack
M2 can be similar to Steady Aim with a scoped attack that gets stronger the longer you press the key
Shift can be similar to Military Training, a backward flip with i-frames to get out of trouble/range

Only R could need some work, replacing the Spotter Scan with some anti-crowd attack, either some sort of grenade, or short range AoE attack.

They do group nicely, but lining them together for piercing attacks is another story.

It's worth mentioning we've found out that Enforcer, Bandit, Sniper, HAND-E, and Paladin (one of the new characters) are unfinished but technically in the current build of the game. As to the return of Acrid and Miner? They may not be making a return...

M2 could be an insta transfer to his scope arm that he has in the back! and-
To release the shot he just has to hold it longer, till it finishes and shoots by itself, while still in scoped animation ofc! (saying that the scope is toggled till action is done)

Or just hold M2 or click it once then release and still being scoped by default if you click or hold so click M2 again to begin the shots- firing or hold and keep it hold and it fires, takes few seconds but penetrates enemies ??? Huu HU??? Homing shots 2-3x of them that penetrate 2-3 enemies ?? or your thoughts anything could change for this idea really- -

There's a sniper already leaked in RoR 1 Character - Sniper - Coming? in feedback suggestion

Well the scope part was obvious really!
