Radar Towers?

There are achievements for activating "radar towers" in level but I can't find radar towers anywhere. Am I missing something?

They're extremely rare things that gives environemental logs.
I've only gotten a single one as of yet.

They look like a smaller version of the Prototype drone pet, buried halfway in the ground, usually fairly expensive to buy. I've played about 15 hours and only found 3-4, not including any I may not have noticed; they're pretty rare.

Just look for robots sticking out of the ground haha

yup have crossed the road of 3 - 4 of them in like 20hrs of game, but i mostly have missed some.

On a side note, don't expect a raised tower, thei're broken, lying on ground, partialy hidden by the floor. ^^

Anyone knows if its sure they spawn every time or its only with some luck?

Its random, also the lunar shop and the monolith map has a logbook somewhere, no radar towers.
