Effigy of Grief -Purpose?
Not sure what the purpose of this item is. it screws characters over if placed.. 50% speed debuf and 20% armour debuff. Anyone have any ideas on the benefits?

It's fun for huntress, drop it, blink out, stack hail of arrows on top, see enemies slow to crawl and get 20% more dmg. Makes literally no sense for merc or most other characters.

It's pretty funny on MUL-T, you get a Black Hole use item and the Effigy and hilarity ensues. Lol.

That's good news. The description states Characters so i didn't see the benefit. Thank you for your answers. :)

Best Strat to get the most out of it is to drop it while high in the air above eather a large cluster of enemies or more practacly a boss/troublesome elite

then from a distance or with high movement abilies bomb it
