Just wrote this in another topic, short answer is sadly no, not unless the devs are made aware of this and asked to re-implement it into the engine.

(Unreal Engine 4 at least allows players to edit the Engine.ini and GameUserSettings.ini files for a ton of different options universally for UE4 games. Wish more games did what AMID EVIL does where it allows you to literally type a custom resolution ingame in the options for X&Y axis.)

The launch option "-window-mode exclusive" without quotes works, you just have to alt+enter 2 times to get it working.

While that techinically does work, it only works when I launch the shortcut of the exe as an admin, and I don't get the steam overlay when I do that. As well, that essentially means I've already tabbed out, which makes performance suffer anyway.
