Sprint Sensitivity
Hi, does anyone know of a way that fixes the altered sensitivity when sprinting. On characters like the Huntress where sprint is vital, my whole game play is thrown off by the slower sprint sensitivity, Current DPI is set at 400 In game sense of 0.13.

Would like an option for this

Yeah, the sens change when sprinting is really inconvenient

hi, I modded the game to fix this. use a hex editor and replace these bytes in Assembly-CSharp.dll. should work in future versions as well

find
22 00 00 00 3F 5A 13 04 11 05 22 00 00 00 3F

replace
22 00 00 80 3F 5A 13 04 11 05 22 00 00 80 3F

Dude thank you, that worked perfectly. No idea why they 'stylized ' sprinting this way.

For anyone doing this, download HxD Hexeditor,
open the Assembly-CSharp.dll inside your install folder. (Make a backup just in case)
Once opened, hit control-F and select "all" in Search Direction.
Copy paste 22 00 00 00 3F 5A 13 04 11 05 22 00 00 00 3F
change to 22 00 00 80 3F 5A 13 04 11 05 22 00 00 80 3F
Save file

Play without sprinting slowing your camera.

Thanks for this!
Works like a charm.

I really wish they would add this as an option.

thank you so much, you are a hero

I think they made it that way to make sprinting feel a bit heavier; making it less of a combat thing and more of a travel/flee thing. This makes sense for the commando but is a liability for the huntress.

There's no file called "Assembly-CSharp.dll" inside my install folder.

Found the file, but ctrl+F cant find the line "22 00 00 00 3F 5A 13 04 11 05 22 00 00 00 3F"
Lord Gadeia Apr 12, 2019 @ 10:52am
Found it, you have to search in the hex-values tab, not text-string.

Hey since the new update, it hasn't worked when I go back in and try to edit the file again, the game just breaks at the main menu. Any ideas on how to fix this or will we just have to live with this now. Great work though, thanks.
Lord Gadeia Apr 16, 2019 @ 3:22pm
Yeah, i also noticed that the update reverted the modification.
SHOKK♥ Apr 16, 2019 @ 3:23pm
This pretty much shows they should have this as a option.
Sprinting in general needs work, it doesn't feel good on Characters that depend on it.

Still works for me after re-applying the patch. Try validating the game cache and try again maybe
