Lost Profiles
Played a bit last night, even unlocked a new character, booted up the game this morning and lost all progress I made, Figured I'd try to report it somewhere even if nothing can be done to help me recover it.

I found something that worked. Found that the save data is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<number>\632360\remote\UserProfiles. If you restart the game and accept the new profile, then reset, you should see a new entry in there from before, based on the dates. I just happened to have my data from 3:00 in there, and the new profile I made today, 12:10, in there, too. I simply copied the 3:00 data to my desktop (for backup), copied the name of the newer profile with nothing, then deleted it, renamed my old save, then it worked. Hopefully it fixes it for you, too, and be sure to backup your data before toying with it!

This worked perfectly and if anyone else is having issues they should follow this to hopefully restore their data.

To clarify (came here looking to transfer my profile data from my one steam account to my other) he meant you go into ror2 and create a new profile in game. Then exit the game and go to the profile file location and there will now be a new folder for that profile. Copy the folder name of this and then delete the new folder. Paste the folder name as the folder you are trying to import. Then on launch it will recognize that folder as that profile and work.
