what do each of the Lunar Altar events do?

so far, i've gotten a few that just seems to do... nothing.

i assume youre talking about the newt altars. they spawn a blue orb aka you get a blue portal when you finish the teleporter. meaning using one guarantees you get to go to the newt shop.
easy enough to figure out if you pay attention and use some basic problems solving skills
