Anyone know how to unlock the characters yet?

Haha! I don't have the Huntress. . :) I'm horrible at this. It's so much fun tho.

Check your log book! It actually says how to unlock the other characters. Example being activate the first portal 5 times, and Merc is complete through loop 2 and enter the Celestial portal. Trapped in time, I THINK is the 10cost in the Blue portal shop. Another is complete 30 stages (total).

Commando - Unlocked by default
Huntress - Survive 3 waves without dying
Engineer - Play a total of 30 waves
Mul-T - Get to the 3rd area under 10 minutes, and open his box within 10 minutes. (It has a timer with a countdown on it.)
Merc - Complete a parkour course and at the end, activate the obelisk. (It is believed this portal spawns in after 1 loop, on the end of the third wave, but not confirmed.)
??? - Access the secret shop with 1 lunar token and unlock this character with 10 of the lunar tokens. (Haven't seen anyone mention this character yet, no idea who it is or what they do.)

If you go to the logs, it tells you how to unlock most of them. The one about "killing yourself" just means beat the game (it loops once, and you beat it again in the same run). The one about suspension is gathering 10 lunar coins and unlocking them in the secret shop that might randomly appear when you beat a level.

The rest are pretty easy. Beast 3 levels without dying. Beat 30 stages. Equip 5 different equipments or something.

Celestial portal has consistently popped for me on loop 2, wave 3.

Mul-T isn't get to the chest. That unlocks an orange item. Mul-T is doing the first wave a total of 5 times.

I have Mul-T, he is get to the chest.

Dude, you're just wrong. It literally says in the game what to do. You can look it up in the logbook, challenges, last page, called "Verified", stating "complete 1st teleporter event 5 times". So literally a lot of people have Mul-T without ever getting chest.

The lunar token shop unlocks the artificer, hes a "mage" with no defence, no utlity and no mobility but a high damage output and a flamethrower ultimate. to unlock him you use 1 token on a shrine of newt to spawn a BLUE orb, do the wave, finish the boss, then go into the bazaar and buy him for 10 lunar tokens

I have unlocked Engineer, Mercenary, Robot, and Huntress, only got the one you got to physically find left.
I think that one is unlocked by unlocking the new biomes, but i have 0 clue on how to ''repair towers''

The way I got him was from the chest, I guess there are two ways?

No the other guy is right, tis from verified, not the chest.

In your case you did both things in the same run. It's coincidence, but there is only 1 way to unlock per character so far.
