How to complete "Demon of the skies" for Mercenary ability

I have to stay in the air for 30 seconds, i've tried a lot of different things but i cant quite get it, any tips?

try getting strides of heresy, extra jumps, and faster cooldowns, jump off of a high ledge into a pit, it can really help maximize time


alternatively you could just go for a couple of hardlight afterburners

A double jump, a right click in the air, shift shift, right click, shift. Depending on how many wisps/vagrants you can phase up through, you can get it without any items. But back up mags, hardlight afterburners and long fall before teleport areas help.

uh... might've changed but I think dragon eggs helped (or at least helped me get up high enough that I could spam dodgies from way up)

I did it in the Bazaar, it's a pretty long fall.

Milky Chrysalis worked for me. Jump from a high place (like the pillars in the swamp) and slowly hover down.

Chrysalis and egg work well. I happened to have a lot of bandoliers one run and just chained wisps with blinding assault.

In the Bazaar Between time you can jump off the edge and keep using abilities and if you have Milky Chrysalis that would also help

lots of feathers. that and a map where you can jump off somewhere high.

The video showing the cheese strategy no longer works unfortunately, out of bounds limits have been moved further inward it seems.

I actually did it really easily with artifact of command and just grabbing a milky chrysalis (equipment) and just flying really high into the air while spamming R and Shift. You can honestly probably stay in the air for well over a minute with that item to be honest, possibly infinitely 🤷‍♂️
