Acrid Caustic Leap DoT should Kill and Proc Effects
The Caustic leap causes poison but also deals 25% damage quite frequently as *white* damage to anything that is standing directly on it.

I understand that poison damage is balanced around not killing. But how is the white damage from something standing on the caustic effect any different from Huntress arrow rain or Rex seed volley?

This should absolutely function like a normal DoT effect since it only affects enemies that stand on it.

Therefore it should be able to kill and have a small proc coefficient.

Thoughts?

I feel like it should, but they might have to decrease the duration of the puddle effect since it sits on the ground for ages atm

Was gonna say somethin like this, 10/10.
I almost feel like it's an oversight.

On the topic of utilities and keeping them even-ish, I feel like Frenzied Leap should have a slightly shorter cooldown and a slightly less buffed cooldown when hitting stuff. It's not a matter of not being skilled enough to hit enemies early-game as much as a lack of them entirely.

Seems fair if its causing constant hits due acid and not poison

Once you get OP enough it doesn't even matter anyways.

I'd happily take a small nerf to the duration for an extra way to finish enemies off and proc effects tbf.

Im hoping its just an oversight too but I guess we'll see..

Indeed, non of his white damage matter anymore especially melee, because it doesn't poison.
Having the Acid pool kill will make it better, consider it an innate Gasoline >.> , btw the pool does proc some items but only defensive ones, like stun, slow and leech seed.

When I unlocked his alternate shift I instantly swapped and haven't looked back yet, pure damage and stun, since any targets you are jumping at are probably going to be poisoned already from your R/RMB then the poison aoe is useless and 550% damage with stun is so much better, hell I think the radius is bigger, at least it FEELS that way.
