I didnt really think about engineer, thats not a bad idea. I might have to try that at some point
This one Item got me Mastery for Acrid. If I hadn't taken it I probably would've died by Stage 3.
Acrid's fun and all but holy hell, he's probably the worst of the 3 melee characters.
I agree but it just makes the run sooo boring. When i accidentally got it on stage 9ish last night, i literally just obliterated cause it ruined my run and i wanted to see the secret area more than be bored for another 20 minutes. Dont get me wrong its really nice to be able to deal with worms, wisps, and any other flying units with ease but that's why i enjoy playing melee characters. it introduces some extra challenge and not just hold M1 until procs kill everything. granted thats basically what you still end up doing with acrid currently since procs rule this game
Also, I may be wrong, but cooldown-reducing items like Bandoiler and Alien Head don't seem to reduce/reload the cooldown. Some confirmation/debunking on that would be appreciated. If I'm right though then that should seriously be amended.
