almost all of them can be unlocked on that mode. I think the only one that can't is the one that requires you do beat an elite boss on monsoon. drizzle also is a cake walk. enemies hit softer and the timer for how fats the difficulty goes up takes longer and in my experance better items drop.

Yes, you can, two excluded: in Drizzle you can't get monsters logs, so you can't get the "Book Worm" achievement and you can't get "Deicide" because it requires you playing on Monsoon.

Other differences are that the difficulty increases more slowly, enemies are weaker and you have a lower probability of getting green and red items.

Drizzle gives you 70 built in armor and the difficulty goes up very slowly. Many people say it also affects enemy spawns, elite spawns, and items, but I'm uncertain of those. It feels neutered honestly, Monsoon isn't even that hard.

interesting beause I seem to get them much more often. monsoon always seems to ♥♥♥♥ me over and give me ♥♥♥♥ items. guess it's just been bad luck for me in my over 100 hours of game play . . .

Well, to be fair that's what I heard around, I don't have the numbers to be sure of it, but from my experience it seems to be that way.

I mean on monsoon I definitely notice more large chest but they just ♥♥♥♥ me over with dropping ♥♥♥♥ items.
In addition to difficulty timer moving quicker on higher difficulties, the enemies attack faster and or are more aggressive in monsoon. I believe there's also a higher chance of next tier up/rare items dropping from regular chests.

Something to consider here. On Monsoon it's much more likely your back is against the wall compared to Drizzle. Because of this every item you get you tend to value more, and if you're already struggling you are constantly hoping for the next item you get to be that one perfect item to save you, compared to Drizzle where you're probably already breezing through and getting a mediocre or bad item is just shrugged off.
It's a common subconscious thing in all luck based stuff, tends to skew data.

I've noticed monsoon has a higher chance of dropping lunar coins. I was playing for about 5ish hours on Drizzle, and I only ever saw one coin drop. I finally ended that run and started on Monsoon, played for about 30 min. and found I had 5 lunar coins without even realizing I had picked them up.
