Engi Turrets/Item + Ability Interactions
So, I've been playing a ton of Engineer recently and I haven't really noticed Attack speed items affecting Turrets at all. I can completely understand why that would be the case if that's intentional but I was curious if maybe it had another less obvious affect? Maybe it increases the proc coefficient or just increases the base damage a little bit? I don't know and I'm interested to know if there is something like that going on in the background.

I was surprised to find out that if you have Dio's Best Friend that the turrets also inherit that item and can resurrect as many times as they have DBF's and I've also noticed that if you die/lose your Dio's Best Friend, the turrets also lose the resurrect ability. Really cool interaction there and I greatly appreciate such an effect even if it's relatively minor.

I personally feel like the Stealthkit is the worst item in the game but with the tweak to the burning damage I've been getting instagibbed a bit less and I've at least felt that the item is a bit better. The fact that it also works on Turrets is meh but I'm not against it. Personally the only thing I think it's good for is if you use one of the health shrines you can run away and the enemies will pretend to not see you.

Side note off of Engineer I'd like to mention Artificer real quick. The proc coefficient change with the patch is noticeable and she feels so much better because of it. I've also noticed that attack speed seems to affect the charge rate of her M2/LT ability. I really like this but would like a tiny bit of a delay between charges as if you have backup mag(s) if you don't release the ability at just the right time, you may accidentally send out an uncharged blast. While it doesn't seem like the damage dealt is impacted by charging, the blast radius obviously is. This isn't a major issue but would be a nice little QoL adjustment for her. Obviously this would be a tiny nerf to a backup mag build on her.

Anyway, anybody notice any not so obvious/expected item+ability interactions?

A really funny interaction i've had with engie turrets recently is having an item that damages allies will cause your turrets to betray you if you hit them with it (this also happens with the beetle guard ally but he cant kill you unlike the turrets) :p Also attack speed items are pretty great on engineer however you might need a bunch before you even start to notice them

I've absolutely noticed attack speed items on the Engineer himself and they're great, just haven't noticed any interactions with them on the turrets, that's what I was curious about mostly.

I've never had that occur but I'll be wary of that if I ever use the Meteor/Hellfire Tincture active items. Not sure if that's intended but kind of hilarious.

ASPD items are super strong on engineer turrets. Only reason they don't seem to be doing anything is because you're not the one shooting, and because having multiple turrets out masks the sound effects of lower tiers of ASPD.

Stealthkit you use for split-tanking with turrets. You place both turrets away from each other so neither will get nuked in the same AoE, and when one of the turrets procs the kit, the other (or you) will take aggro.

One of the better interactions is Fungus and N'whatever's Opinion (which stores healing then fires off a projectile at 10% max health of stored heals). Each turret (and you) generate their own field and speed up the proccing of Opinion when they're in range of another healing field.

I just don't like stealthkit. It's not a terrible item but I feel like it's the worst item in the game personally. Just personal opinion on that.

I've had the Fungus and N's Opinion combo and it's pretty cool. A really good combo for sure!
