Eng + certain items (Brittle Crown)

I haven't really had a chance to test stuff since the new patch. I normally play with a friend who takes the Eng and it seems like having 2 to start with kinda sucks.

so there's been some interesting item interactions i've noticed while playing him on my own. IE fungus + option + healing rack means they always fire the skulls.

but before shelling out lunar on testing a build idea i have i was wondering if anyone knew if the crown even works on the Eng? If it does does damage to the turret take money from the player things like that. any help would be appreciated.

Brittle crown only effects the engineer himself, his turrets don't inherit either half of the effect. Brittle crown all around is a trash tier item on everyone except MAYBE the huntress.

The way I understand it the turret inherits all of your items, however the turret then turns into an independant entity. The reason brittle crown in particular doesn't work is because the turret would gain or lose gold, not you. Any item that doesn't refer to a resource that's only relevant to you ie brittle crown, rusted key, or use items is fair game.

I had 3 brittle crowns on an artificer run that got to stage 19 - it was fun but you have to be really good at dodging as even though you can make a good amount of money a few hits will lose you a few thousand gold pretty quickly.

Overall I would say it's only marginally useful on characters that have rapid attack speeds (MUL-T, artificer, maybe huntress). On later levels though it becomes more of a liability.

Occular HUD also doesn't work on Turrets.
Infusion, if turrets kill the mob, they get more hp but it doesn't stay if it's replaced, moved, or killed.
