Defensive Items?
I definitely understand that "speed" items can be just as essential as "health" items. But there aren't many "defensive" items. Rose Buckler, and I guess teddy bear are the only ones, I think.

An obvious answer to this is to just "not get hit" but that doesn't always work against a gaggle of enemies, especially ones that have hitscan or have tracking lasers. Enemy dmg constantly increases and just having enough health doesn't always work.

Thoughts please.

stacking bears is probably the best defense at this point. a high amount of em means even if you accidentally take a hit trying not to be hit, you'll likely get a free pass and not die.

Oh I know. 10% per stack I think, but it caps off or something. I'm saying there should be more, compared to the amount of other items for each "stat"

Tougher Times Block Chance[docs.google.com]
It's multiplicative, and I remember someone saying you needed bears in the millions to finally hit 100%.

Anyways yeah, more items are coming so of course the current roster may feel scant in some areas. Gotta make do with what you can and tough it out heh.

There are very few attacks that can't be straight-up outrun. Rose buckler isn't particularly great since you're already oscar mike at the time. That leaves you with Tougher Times and Old War Stealthkit.
I'd love to see something like the bloodthirster shield from league of legends. Let you overheal by like 10% max hp per stack falling off quickly out of combat.

The lunar item for HoT works like that a little. But yah, that'd be nice to have.

Friend suggested an item that has a small chance of deflect, arc style.

Health and shield items are also defensive. Early game, some shields or medkits can make the difference. If you get a few infusions, you can prevent being suddenly dropped to 5% hp by a single elite attack mid and late game. Titanic knurls go a long way as well, especially if you get the healing antler legendary. Golden portal is always worth the effort because of this

Yah I have most items but not all
Infusion is a good thing for not being out leveled by enemies
