A question about loops.

Heyho, I just played my first round of this game. I looped once, but then instead of a 3rd loop, I was suddenly asked whether I wanted to obliterate myself from existance.

Is this already "the end" of the game?

Or is there any special lopping condition? (Like shooting the generators in Nuclear Throne)

Obliterating yourself is the closest to an ending we have until they add the final boss, which is supposed to be coming at some point. You can also just continue looping by not going through the celestial portal.

You must've missed the celestial portal in your first loop, it shows up the second time you visit Rallypoint Delta.

To answer your question, no. You either loop for eternity or kill yourself. There is no proper end-game yet because Early Access.

Even if you enter the portal, after touching the monument once, a new "continue" portal will open to the side so you can back out of suicide. You will be awarded 5 Lunar coins for offing yourself though.

Thanks! Yea, I must have missed those portals then. I'm not quite used to the graphics yet. It's a bid sad though, I expected boss variety to be a bit more, but well - let's see where early access goes from here :)
