Screen Resolution is not saving
Just wanted to report a missing feature, that gets pretty annoying when you're playing with nvidia surround and want to have the game only on one screen. I need to set my resolution every time back to 1920x1080 when im starting the game up. Would be nice if that gets stored as others preferences do.
One other thing that would be nice is to be able to play in fullscreen windowed mode.
Anyways, great game. Looking forward to further updates!

I'm pretty sure this is a known issue, I've seen other threads talking about this before. Two days ago, I got a bigger monitor and now my own resolution won't save either.

I was having the same issue in windowed (non-fullscreen) mode, so just in case anyone else comes looking for this:

Note your preferred resolution (width x height x hz), then in your RoR2 directory ( usually Steam/steamapps/common/Risk of Rain 2), under the "Risk of Rain 2_Data\Config" open config.cfg and edit the line "resolution 1920x1080x60" with the values you noted. For example, mine is "resolution 1600x900x59". The last thing you need to do is to make the file read-only (right-click > properties), otherwise it will be set back to the default every time you close the game.

If you need to change settings later, you'll need to remember to remove the "read-only" setting, make the changes, fix your resolution again, then set it back to read-only.

^^^ Lifesaver. Huge thanks!:lunar2019piginablanket:

(P.S. used this solution to alter the maximum refresh rate - mine was stuck at 60Hz)
