Only if you have something like 8 stacks of GOTD so the tonic can be re-used before it runs out, otherwise all GOTD does is make you kill yourself faster. But then, when you have that many stacks of GOTD, why not just use a Disposable Missile Launcher and fire missiles almost non-stop, killing everything without even having to look at it.

Same thing. Once you get the cooldown low enough it's OK, but missiles are better.

It's suicidal until the point in the game where it's unnecessary, needs a buff I think, like most Lunar items that aren't GOTD and Transcendence.

In the last post about how this patch has gone they mentioned spinal tonic and GOTD interaction working as intended, the slightly nerfed GOTD, but I'm pretty sure as it is right now it's 1 GOTD a 2 fuel cells for permanent uptime on tonic. Anything can be broken with the right items anyway . Though I haven't personally used that combo though. I usually just go with glass.

I turn in a Shulka Anti-aircraft gun when I use that combo on Mul-T

You can also use limited amount of GOTD and Soulbound Catalyst if you're feeling risky.

One GOTD and a combination of 5 (more) GOTD+Fuel cells, and god help you if you pick up the Spineal tonic one cooldown reduction too soon.

If you already have good items in the first place then it's all irrelevant. Move speed is simply crucial for survival.
