Best level to farm lunar coins?
I know you can get some from the obelisk, but for the RNG way, which level do you think would be the easiest to collect them in and kill massive amounts of enemies?

Best bet is to either get to around loop 3 and find a level where you're comfortable farming loads of enemies for ages. Or get mods like Balanced Obliterate, which makes it give you more Lunar Coins based on how far you get, more on Monsoon, less on Drizzle.

Otherwise you also have to listen out for an 'item drop' sound that accompanies Lunar Coin drops, it can be easy to miss.

Unfortunately the Obelisk is SO much faster, it's not worth trying to farm the coins by RNG as comparison. But also, food for thought... I played a 5 hour game a few weeks ago, and not 1 dropped past hour 2.

that's surprising, I get a lot of coins on my runs, usually about 2-4 Then again I also hoard my coins for the bazaar so I guess it doesn't matter much.

Dude, I just got 3 in level 2, and at least 1 every other level.

not one to condone cheating but you can literally edit a number in one of the text files to be your number of coins

I know. :) But I like to do it the hard way. It just feels more accomplishing. Besides, I don't want to take a chance of permanently crashing my game.

Holy piss, I didn't think it would be so easy. Though, I only changed it to a small amount to get the achievements.

After switching to Monsoon, I honestly can't get rid of them fast enough.

Yeah, if you buy something from the bazaar after a few hours of work, you're broke as a joke again because the prices are absurd. Like maybe a freebie card every now and then?

depends , most of lunar items have to be purchased when you have specific thing in mind as more often then not they are "weakness" not a "buff"

if you keep flying around churring coins all time and be suprised your out your missing the point

Coins are there for "experienced people" to get edge they need in run , i find prizes about right

if your looking at them as "ohh i should get them so much i can afford few of these a run" your wrong and you need to play a bit more

im not even good player and i get 1-4 coins a run , i got like 20+ by now and thats after buying lunar items every now and then and unlocking the character

exactly right. typically i spend coins on a newt shrine im on the lookout for specific lunar items, or spending a coin so i can trade in items for a decent red or green. like say i got a bunch of healing items in white, but i grabbed transendence, dont need those anymore so i can grab whatever green is in the shop. or im not proud of the greens i've gotten or have 7 cronobaubles, trade those in for a behemoth and make more pain!
