Equipment Drone - What Works Well?

What pieces of Equipment do you like or are willing to put into the drone and why?

missile launcher seems to be one of the better ones, preon can be kinda fun sometimes assuming the drone doesn't go get stuck in a wall. really any equipment that you kinda just fire and forget is nice but there aren't that many good options with it as of now

So i have questions. If I equip it with say a Ocular HUD to the drone when it uses it will I get the bonus or is it a waste? Same with radar? Finally if I give it a crowdfunder does it even fire it and if it does is it going to use my credits or does it have some sort of ghost credits?

With Ocular HUD it's fun to watch how it trying to help you when activating it everytime, but doing absolutly nothing with it, because the dron can't attack by default so this item is just a waste.
Radar is top tier supporting item, don't believe that people blaming how that dron is useless. I had perfect first 90 minutes with such support. Yes sometimes dron decline to activate item, but that's situational and mostly because there is no mobs and bosses on the map are left to kill.
About crowdfunder I had no chance to test it, sorry but no idea what should hapeen, in theory : 1) Dron will do nothing, because dron doesnt get any money; 2) Dron will use your money, but again it's questionable, because no idea where the dron is looking at or what is the target for it.

Currently the best choice for him are Radar Scanner, Disposable Missile Launcher, Royal Capacitor, Glowing Meteorite & The Back-up
No idea where the dron is looking at and what or who is the target for it so i'm not sure about:
Primordial Cube, Preon Accumulator & Eccentric Vase
For Gnarled Woodsprite, The Crowdfunder, Effigy of Grief & Helfire Tincture i had not chance to test
Ocular HUD, Spinel Tonic, Milky Chrysalis, Foreign Fruit & FUEL ARRAY are absolutly useless.

radar is good, wood sprite makes him somewhat of a tank / heal bot.

missiles turns him into a missile drone with serious punch

royal capacitor makes him a awesomesauce bot of awesome.

fuel cell makes him an exploding target xD

preon makes him useless for most of a map and it'll choose to waste it on random targets. but flying BFG is fun regardless.

crowdfunder doesnt work as far as i can tell.

back up makes him a drone factory

fruit makes him a tank!

primordial cube makes it a trap bot.

Meteor makes him a hazardous troll >:D

things i havnt personally tried, the debuff doll thing from the lunar shop, the flask, the worm hole vase (would be fun if that worked, random wormholes into the air!), hell fire could be funny, it'd be a drone that could accidentally help kill all your drones at the possibility of being an AoE incinerator drone.

Unrelated, but there is no use for spectating when you die, unless you want to be bored and unhelpful in chat. Maybe the ability to ping while spectating? It's not like a ghost is gonna grab a preon and Seto Kaiba blast everything.

How does Hellfire Tincture work? Is the drone smart enough to get close to enemies, or does it just hover out of reach damaging itself? If the drone can do damage with Hellfire, it should be able to do a LOT of damage, since drones have much more HP than players.

it would be neat if for multiplayer only, the dead could control combat type drones. would make the beefy TC drone worth having around for a group of varying skilled players. someone died! oh well take over the TC till we clear the map.

it'd also be nice to control equipment drones, put equipment on them they'd normally use horribly, but you die you get to help with that equipment instead.
