Also, why would you be tank-healing everything, except if you really want to die ?
I don't see any problem with anti-heal. Lategame, I'm not taking any damage because everything dies way before being able to even attack me. And if it doesn't and I hear a malachite elite spawning, I just keep my distance and destroy him from a far. Sure, they deal a lot of damage but it's not a problem if they can't attack you.
The only time I find malachite to be a problem is around stage 6 when they first start appearing. It's simply too early in the game and there's a high chance I'm not strong enough to handle them. By stage 9 if I get that far they aren't really a threat. But of course, Transcendence. I've never managed to get to stage 9 with Rex, and I think rex's reliance on healing really cripples him after stage 4.
