Bug? Legendary Chests don't seem to spawn.

Apart from the confirmed legendary chest that always spawns in the little cave in Abyssal Depths, I haven't seen any other legendary chests spawn. This update supposedly made it so the chests could spawn anywhere after looping, instead of just the Depths like it used to be. However, I've done a good few long runs since this update and haven't run into a single one, Depths or not.
Anyone else experiencing this? Or am I just getting really unlucky. Seems strange I'd run into two high-tech printers but no legendary chests.

I noticed this too. Have not only not seen any gold chests while looping, but I don't see any 2nd gold chests on abyssal now either

i´ve found one legendary chest on the sandmap in my x´d loop. they can spawn but are rare

Also going to report the same as the OP. Have not seen any additional legendary chests since I first started on the update, be it on Abyssal Depths or elsewhere.

I got two legendary chests (one in the spot it always spawns) in abyssal depths after the patch. It was pretty uncommon to get a second one before the patch too. And wayy more uncommon outside of abyssal depths from what I noticed.

Of course, in multiplayer they're flippin everywhere.

I had a chest spawn in the new area, so they definitely do.

playing multiplayer i've seen them spawn after the first loop or two. single player im gonna guess its just bad map RNG.

Huh, I haven't noticed them in single player or multiplayer. I hope they bump up the spawnrate for them a smidge eventually, since some runs see a severe lack of red items.

I haven't found one since the update either, but I get enough red items from uncommon chests that it hasn't made a big difference.
