Kinda disappointed that Rex abilities damage Shields but dont heal them.
I guess I can get why you will lose shields when using his abilities since transcendence would be top tier on him if it didnt just spam M2 forever kinda thing, but it sucks that you cant heal shields with them as well.

I feel like if you are gonna have his abilities hurt shields it should also heal them. Just my thoughts, otherwise i like him a lot.

Yea i get doing it so that good items dont become god tier on 1 character, but now it just makes that item 100% useless on Rex

Does it take more than 1 damage from his abilities while having transcendence? Blood ritual drain 0 hp when used with transcendence. His current hp with transcendence is 1 after all.

It drains whole current HP bar, which includes shields. So having Transcendence removes his ability to recover from it with his M1 and R while still reducing health.
Blood shrine also drain your current HP bar but they do nothing with transcendence. Unless they changed this interaction, your sentence doesn't make sense.

That's why the barrier equipment is super interesting. The Aegis item turns excess healing into barriers. If you get Aegis first, and then transcendence, that could be a very fun synergy for Rex.
