PSA: The game can only show damage numbers up to 9999 but the enemies do take more than 9999 damage, the game just does not show this to us.
I have played too many multiplayer games with someone cheating for infinite lunars, opening all the lunar shops, grabing all the shaped glass and/or all the gestures and then i can just afk and watch him kill eveything at spawning.
It also apply to people stacking the brittle crowns, and looting all the map by themself. Like while i wait the money to open 2 chests he already opened 10, and of course he didn't share the items he got (what did I expect anyway).
If you can't play this game without abusing the lunar shop and spending 10+ lunars per runs, you are probably not very good and should question your own skills.
Also if you rush the lunars items in the shop and buy all the good ones for yourself (i see that everytime), then you are just a selfish prick that should stay in solo.
Damage stacks exponentially. So 2^x where X is as many shaped glass as you have. Once I got 17 shaped glass which means a I was dealing x131,072 damage
Sometimes, I've had runs where everything is invulnerable but me, and shaped glass would just get me killed faster. Sometimes, I've had runs where I've never touched a single glass and I'm still auto-speed-murdering the entire map. Sometimes, I've picked up a royal capacitor and a Gesture of the Drowned and I FEEL THE POWER.
I'm personally not fond of the slot machine behavior myself, but it's a core gameplay element. I don't have any reason to believe it's ever going to change.
I had run when everything died in a matter of seconds post 180 min, I also had run, where I couldn't kill anything, but was high on mushrooms at 30 min and literally only damage item I had was damn dagger.
You don't need glass and if you do, 1 is more then enough.
Blame blaming things
Blaming things sucks the fun of out things because it's something's "fault" that you're not doing well. There's a million factors, who cares, die or quit and just try again.
