I thought you couldn't be hit during it? I just lost a run cus I lost 50 percent of my hp while in strides of heresy.

It lies. You're free from enemy targetting, but something like running into Malachite spikes is a big no-no.

If you're already being damaged from fire, or bleeding - it won't stop that damage. It just prevents any new damage after it's activated. Malachite patches might be a bug.

Yeah it only makes you invulnerable to any NEW instances of damage DoT applied before activation persist through strides, and the kid above is straight up lyring you can walk into malachite spikes while under the effect of strides

My bad. Don't have a lot of experience with the item. I figured that if he lost 50%+ HP he:
-Wasn't burning because the heal from Strides can outheal the 5% burn cap. Bleeding couldn't overcome it either, and neither would do 50% HP.
-Wasn't afflicted by a lightning bomb because if it did 50%, he didn't have 50% to lose from the attack itself
-Wasn't being attacked by Titan laser, because I've never had a problem ducking out of one by using Strides.

You can still take falling damage during it, I'm pretty sure.
