Price diffrences between pc and nintendo switch

So.. On pc this game cost 19.99 but on nintendo switch its 29.99 i just wana know why o: im sure the fps will prob be capped at 30 or somthing but cost more than it is on pc when fps can be more than 60

It's the console tax (which people love to deny), but it's clear it takes more money to publish/develop on Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

I saw the console announcement and I honestly thought the game had left early access. But it didn't. I thought consoles had a rule of no unfinished games on them? Most of the time companies wait until the game is finished to release elsewhere.

Game does look fun now (I did love original) but it's a bit odd to release it as a full game on consoles at this point.

It might also but that's gonna be the final price and it could be harder to change the price as free on switch then steam since I beleieve they said the price would increase in release since all the content will be there but that's just my geuss I couldn't tell your the real reason
