Loader is fun but too OP
And the devs will 'balance' him just like they did Mul-T and mutilate him, completely removing all of the fun of playing the character

Her* and they have already said they know she is a bit over-tuned if anything they will just lengthen the CD on her R which is a very OP move on the current CD especially after you get the damage grapple. The rest of her kit is fairly close to balanced. I think they need to rebalance the game with the "fixed" regen before doing any character rebalancing though and it sounds like that is the plan. In monsoon the barrier generation is not OP without additional generation it gets ripped away real quick and is no more OP than merc's INVINCIBILITY from two abilities.

Half-second invincibility doesn't mean much compared to a barrier that runs out very slowly. Not like Loader needs a barrier anyways when he should only be in melee range of enemies for a quick moment. Good loaders, anyways.

No like I said the charge attack needs a longer CD loader should be stuck-in that is what the barrier on-hit is for and the grapple is an amazing escape if things get too dicey. Merc is invincible for the entire R and a half second after as well as a during and a half second after blinkstrike (I have used blink many time to avoid the near instant death AOE from jellyfish boss). Merc is borderline OP but if you slip up your rotation you die quick hence borderline.

Loader has a huge damage, high-mobility attack that gets in and out of danger in one move and has a less than 10 second CD (which is the CD I think it needs). If you get damage grapple you even have a quasi ranged option that is still an escape and mobility tool. Really the charge attack is the only thing that needs to change. Either leave the damage as is and increase the CD or reduce the damage and leave the CD as-is.

I'd actually find Loader to be balanced entirely if his shift didn't give a speed boost and was just a charged punch. That would make the character far more skill-oriented, and the game can benefit from a high-difficulty ceiling survivor.

To be honest most of the fun of loader for me just comes from the shift and the M2's mobility, it goes fast and has a short cooldown so I can get around quick. I'd be fine just cutting the damage in half for the shift but keeping the cooldown the same. Would make it less of the super death fist it currently is.

Ye, I've been preferring the one punch style, the later takes some time to get rolling if you can't get a syringe printer.
