How are you supposed to get the Mercenary Ethereal skill?

Is it just me or is not losing health during a prismatic trial insanely difficult/annoying?

arent prismatic trials the same every run? wouldent just practicing the same one make it easier?

Yeah but still, the level of skill you'd need to have to not take any damage for the entire trial seems pretty damn high, not to mention that the levels change so if you don't complete it during that time span the practice is wasted.

this trial I found quite easy to do this (i got the 3 rocket drones and the acculator from bottom of the map, then nuked boss took equipment drone, on second level i just traded all green items for the equipment cd and multiple charges as well as took the timed chest for another acculator then insta killed boss.) Mainly just have to be good on managing to dodge some stuff, and use your R purely for the invincibility frames and dodging

Unfortunately, it's about learning the item locations,the bosses and when/how to dodge them.I did it on the one with siren call first stage and deltapoint second.In there you needed to get the preon from under the ship and the lens(close to the preon).After,you had to go up-left for a crowbar,down-left for a ukulele.After you clear the cristals,you need to buy the drone and turret to help you take agrro from the first boss while you nuke them with the preon.After the fight,you needed to open 2 large chests and you would have 4 green items in total(1 from ukulele,one from the teleporter and 2 from the chests).In deltapoint,there was a printer for fuel cells.You trade all your greens(u need 4 for less cd and to get faster 3 stacks) and then you would just run around the map,dodging,until you had 3 charges minimum to kill the overloading clay teapot.And that's how I did it.To get a skill that changes the ult from the basic dash to a single slice that deals 3*100%dmg(that's what it said in loadout, didn't test it in-game cuz I was done after 3-4 hours of repeating the same ♥♥♥♥).Have fun trying to get it boys

What are you opinions on the new R skill? I haven't gotten it, but I find the new secondary one, Rising Thunder, pretty good, imo.

Lackluster. Not really worth it. Especially considering what's required to unlock it...

Also, I find Rising Thunder kinda bad, too. It launches enemies higher than it launches you, so there's no combo capability to it.

So I haven't beaten it yet but I've figured some stuff out about the new seed. Make sure you head to the bridge and get the Topaz Brooch when you destroy the crystal. Then head to the one under the bridge, destroy crystal, head to the Vault under the overhang, destroy crystal and get second Topaz Brooch. Go to the portal, get the chest behind the pillar and take the green item. These together will make the boss fight much easier as long as you keep the shields from Brooch up. Haven't made much progress on the second area yet.

Current seed is basically getting all Topaz Brooch items and using the TC prototype to take out the boss on the second level. I almost got it that way, first level is a no brainer, second you gotta be super careful.

I just did it on the newest trial. Picked up goat hoof on spawn in. Ran to bridge and got topaz brooch. Ran into unlocked cave and got brooch and destroyed time crystal there. Ran back out and destroyed two main time crystals. Grabbed the drone near the cliff's edge. Started boss fight and focused on keeping up my shield from the topazs.

Rallypoint delta. Ran around grabbing all the loose change I could find and destroying all the crystals for money. Started boss and just ring around the rosied him until I had enough money to activate the super drone. Activated him and killed the small enemies while staying away from boss. That was it. Haven't played the game in a month or two and it was relatively easy.

Copy paste from another thread. This is probably the easiest this is ever going to be.

Just look around for a topaz broach. Then Restart the map and rush down that chess. Then just rush the 2 teleports. The merc has good damage output by default, don't worry about any items. Use the blinding assault and eviscerate to avoid damage. They basically remove you from existence.
