So is this an MMO or not?

I am 4 games shy of having every single Neptunia game. This is one of them but I did not want to get it because I do not want to play an MMO after my WOW addiction. However looking more into it I am starting to get the idea that this is not an MMO, is this a single-player or an MMO? Even if you can play it online what I want to primarily know is if you can play it offline alone.

It's not an MMO, and the multiplayer is more or less unplayable ( EXTREMELY bad netcode ), so I recommend you ignore this game. Without the multiplayer aspects this game is a rather dull disappointment.

It's not an MMO, so you dont have to worry about that OP. Since IF games are on large discounts atm (with a few different bundles on top of that) nows a good time to get the game I guess.

Like the others said, its not one.
However, it plays like Action Unleashed, Megatagmansion Blanc or basically kinda like a light Warriors game without the combos. One button to do a string of normal attacks and four buttons for special attacks that you can map to, which you then can use at any time as long as you have enough SP.

This should help you a little bit to decide, if its worth to buy it.

Don't just go by the opinion of other people, it's not an MMO, it's mostly single player and I really did enjoy this game. As for multiplayer, yeah, I don't recommend you to join a room other people created, instead of that create your own room and play multiplayer missions by yourself, sometimes people will join your room but I recommend you to have enough level for each mission.

Can get the game for 40% if you buy it in a bundle. There's like 5 or 6 different bundles being sold on Steam right now.

Plus it seems to stack with the 25% discount on top of that. I could buy the game for 20 euro total when it was bundled with 1 more game I didnt have yet. (tho I ended up just buying it with +2, for 3 games total at 25~ euro)

In OP's case they could get all 4 missing games for 40% off, then 25-75% discount on each of the 4 games on top of that.

Technically speaking It's an MMO (for the ingame characters), but it's singleplayer(for us).

If I remember correctly the story is that the girls recieved keys for the closed beta for the game 4 Goddesses Online.

For me it's a good game as I don't like to play multi-player. I bought the game for my love of Nep-Nep and Uni. Lol. That and I liked all of the other games. If you're a fan of the rest of the games you might like it just simply because of what it is. It take some getting used to for me as it doesn't control as smootly as the other games and the cameras are kind of a pain for me at least. But with Humble Bundle it's less than $20 right now.
