Junk Heap area help

Hi i energised the girl at the junk heap but now i don't seem to get behind the fridge ,was i ment to do the fridge part first before I energised her ????? or is there a way i can still do this part ????

Activate the biometric scanner on her and click the padlock icon to lock it on her. Then walk around on the scrap heap and you will find an anomaly when going close to the fridge.
