How can i play with controller?

I have my twin usb controller and when i turn on the joystick it works but the game redirects me too the keyboard.How can i play with a joystick then? XD

I might have an idea what it is if you're setting your controller up with Steam.

If that doesn't work, just get a X-Box 360 or X-Box One controller. Will work right out of the box.

I'm assuming the topic creator has since refunded the game. Fraxinim still has it. I was thinking about getting this, but I tend to wait a bit after what happened with Sonic Mania. While I wait, I'm looking into seeing how to get a Wii remote + and nunchuk working with Steam. I figured playing with a Wii Remote and Nunchuk might make it more interesting.

On the subject of the controller, there are some controllers Steam won't recognize without needing work put into making it more compatible. Wii remote and Nunchuk is one I've seen like that.

I've already made some progress with the Wii remote using Touchmote, Dolphinbar (as a dongle), and a generic sensor bar (Dolphinbar's trash when it comes to IR aiming) with some help from a Wii remote group here on Steam. If it turns out Capcom hasn't used it, I'll buy it so I can see what Devil May Cry would be like with Twilight Princess inspired controls around April. Anyway, I've looked into troubleshooting for Direct Input for another game, but the main reason I haven't mentioned how to do that yet is because I noticed you don't have a mouse next to your username on this forum. It's how I can tell if a game's in your Steam library.

Worth mentioning, Steam tends to have keyboard set to a default binding, but you can apply a controller template to it. You may have to reapply the bindings from time to time.

I do this, but it's not working, I still have problem with controller...

Edit: Problem fixed. In Steam Settings > Controller > "Obsługa konfiguracji standardowego kontrolera" (Use configuration of normal controller)
