They should get around to patching it, but in the meantime it's a complete non-issue thanks to MSi Afterburner and RivaTuner being both highly reputable and entirely free.
It only limits the framerate in the menus (dmclauncher.exe). When I pick a game (dmc1 for example) when the game switches to the game's executable (dmc1.exe), the frame limiter doesn't apply and it goes back up to 165fps and the game runs too fast. If I disable GSync, it is even worse as the game now runs at thousands of FPS and the game runs comically fast.
I cannot seem to get framelimiting to work at all. Might have to refund.
You might want to give that a try.
