ps3 or pc?

I have all of the DMC games on ps3, so is there any reason to get the HD collection on pc? Are the graphics better with 1440p support?

TL:DR you only need to buy the PC versions if you plan to Mod them.

From the Experience of seeing my brother play DMC3 HD on PS3 there was an issue of it crashing enough times before being able to save that it got annoying having to repeat progress that was just finished. If not for the crashing issue there wouldn't be a huge reason to get the HD collection save for the fact you can mod the games with things like the DDMK mod to add DMC3 Style Switching, or DMC1 Sparda DT outside of final boss.

There is also a mod called DMC3 Crimson in the works that looks very Promising.

There are also mods for DMC4 and DMC5 that give them more features as well, so all the games are worth having on PC if you plan to mod them. If you aren't going to be modding them then the Nintendo Switch version of DMC3 is actually the best version in therms of Content, and only consoles have DMC5 Special edition.

If you were going to play DMC1 and DMC3SE without mods anyway, then Emulating the PS2 version is actually better then the HD collection, due to input lag being better and the Graphics being properly displayed instead of flawed, like how they are in DMC1 HD. There is even Retro achievements, so you don't miss out on that either.

Only supported games can run at 1080p, and very few of them actually have that support. the HD collection on PS3 only goes as high as 720p.

From my quick Research there were 88 native 1080p PS3 games.

There is 2410 PS3 games According to wikipedia,
