dmc1, dmc2 and dmc3 all have pretty basic achievements (except read you like a book for which you need to see every enemy in the game perform all of their attacks which could be annoying) like going through all diff and collecting things so if you can't progress beyond a certain point you can spam items for that like heals and holy water, although in dmc1 getting items is a pain in the ass because to cheese dmd you'd have to do a lot of runs on the same file to get enough items.

dmc4 is where it starts to get REALLY tedious, you need to unlock every skill on every character, beat the game with every character (3 playthroughs btw) and beat bloody palace with every character. That isn't the most difficult part after that you have to beat every difficulty with Hell & Hell being a no damage run but you can use super costumes for it so it's not as bad and after that comes the most time consuming part S ranking every mission in every difficulty except Hell & Hell and LDKS

dmc5 is pretty much the same as dmc4 except the requirements for S ranking a mission is style and not using items and even then some missions are straight up broken on how much style is required to get an S rank. Oh and remember how you didn't need to S rank missions in Hell & Hell? Well now you do.

Also i might be missing a TON of crucial information i haven't played dmc4 and dmc5 in a bit but i did 100% the dmc collection so if you need clarification i'll get back with proper stuff.

Thanks for the heads up
Ill start at dmc and go up from there, how do i fill the enemy file, do i need multiple save files or is it possible to go back and and collect it later? It has to be on the same savegame right? So i have to get it the first time of encounter or start over?
Define "100%"

If you mean mastering every mechanic and beating every difficulty level, that takes years of practice, but is worth it.

If you mean getting achievements, don't bother trying, these games aren't for you.

in dmc1 you can't choose which missions you want to start on so once you choose a difficulty you can't change it until you beat it. Everything you do has to be on the same savefile

As for the enemy files you have multiple encounters with every enemy the only difference is that on higher diff different enemies spawn in the same locations as before, You have to get every enemy file on the same savefile or else the achievement won't count but if you miss something you can always do another playthrough after beating your current one. Also after beating normal you can go to hard but after beating hard you can go back to normal or go to dmd and after beating dmd you can go back and play on hard or normal on the same save.

you don't have to be an ass when someone says 100% of course they mean all achievements otherwise they'd say "i want to do everything there is to do in all dmc games" and even then it's not your job to gatekeep stuff that is literally impossible because of it's already established fame bro thinks he's the fun police

Who are you to judge someone when you yourself haven't done the same?

ty but, i will do it the honorable way:steamthumbsup:
So right now i have defeated mundus and started hard mode, you keep the enemy files you gathered in normal mode before, so thats a big relief.

I also noticed that if you complete a monster file and save mid mission (select and then save) you will keep the file even if you die 10 seconds later and have to reload. But i recommend to anyone that does want to 100% it too, do the all the non-boss enemies in normal mode, its way easier especially that sewer demon.

I found this script with all the entries, you can see which one is missing since they will leave a blank if you have for example 6/7 paragraphs and youre missing it will look like this:
5 asdjasdjkalösdkjad
6
7 dsfäklsdpfklsdpfsdf
