DMC HD collection crashing whenever I try starting a game

For some reason, whenever I start up the collection, its fine until I try booting up one of the games.

Then it just crashes for some reason. IDK if I have to reinstall the entire ass thing or not.

I've been experiencing a similar problem with DMC4 which just straght up doesn't boot up. How do I fix this?

Do you have DirectX Redist (June 2010)[www.microsoft.com] and Visual C++ Redistributables[www.techpowerup.com] installed?

Also, it used to work for a while, and I haven't used this PC for a while...

Now it just simply isn't working.

I also think it might be due to having style switcher mod downloaded so yeah

Ok, I reinstalled the game and saw that I had BOTH of the apps you mentioned on(in fact a newer version of direct X is installed)

Unfortunately, it STILL refuses to run! GDI, what do I do now?

If you reinstalled the game without deleting the install folder, the style switch mod you downloaded is probably still there. The style switch mod requires exes from the previous version of the game or patched exes of the current version.

Check your install directory for the following DLL files:

dinput8.dll
Eva.dll
Mary.dll
Lucia.dll

If those files are in there, then just delete them to uninstall the mod. Then try running any of the games.
