issues with the needle gun in the underwater ship level

so uhh i am currently in the underwater ship level in DMC 1 and for some reason i cannot shoot the needle gun even though it is equiped can anyone tell me what the button for that on the keyboard is? as the game does not tell you.
L which is the normal shoot button does not work.
any help would be appreciated :)

Not sure if you still need to aim (hold RB). I can't test it since there's no mission select.

Nvm i found it out myself, i checked the buttons for holding RB and it was holding spacebar and pressing L.
